
Anıl Acar focuses on phases of M&A projects; participates in due diligence processes, post-closing support, business integration, and corporate governance matters. He advises local and multinational clients in the food and beverage, manufacturing, industrial equipment manufacturing (heating solutions, machinery, etc.), and payment solutions sectors on corporate and commercial law matters for drafting and reviewing numerous types of commercial contracts; and daily corporate maintenance tasks.
He is also experienced in competition law matters, merger controls, vertical agreements, and exemption assessments in the pharmaceutical, aviation, steel, chemicals, technology, textile, construction, media and entertainment, and industrial manufacturing sectors. He has represented distinguished multinational corporations before the Turkish Competition Authority and participated in more than 30 merger notifications concerning complex transactions.
He regularly writes articles in respected law journals and periodicals.
Before joining Pekin & Pekin, he spent a year at the University of Vienna to pursue an LL.M. degree and worked as an associate in an eminent law firm in Istanbul.
